Below you will find useful information relating to your Insurance People insurance policy. Insurance People insurance refers to the insurance policy, and is arranged by Aon New Zealand as the broker. The insurer for the respective policy can be found in the policy wording or on your policy schedule.

Need to lodge a claim? We make it nice and simple as most Home, Contents and Motor Vehicle claims can be lodged over the phone by contacting Aon New Zealand on Freephone 0800 50 90 90. Alternatively, you can complete a claim form below and email it to nz.insurancepeople@aon.com.

Have I got the right protection if something goes wrong?
The products we offer at Aon New Zealand will offer you the protection you need in the event of a claim. We are able to provide a premier insurance product at an affordable price.

How will my claim be handled?
Your claim will be handled by the insurer directly. You will be appointed a dedicated claims handler who will process your claim from start to finish, assisting you with any issues you may have on the way.

How easy is it to deal with Aon New Zealand?
We have a dedicated customer service team who can assist you with any queries you have about your cover. We are contactable by phone 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. For any urgent queries outside these hours, you will be forwarded directly through to the insurer for urgent claim assistance or arranging of new cover.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO HOME & CONTENTS POLICIES

Effective 1st July 2019 for all new policies and upon renewal for all existing policies.
 
Insurance People Home & Contents policies have been updated.

In some instances, cover has been altered, other changes are focused on providing more clarity in the event of a claim and the Government has also made legislative changes.
